Growing up in Delhi, his earliest memories were filled with warm evening breezes carrying faint trails of temple incense, street chai spices, and the secret musks his grandfather dabbed behind his ears before taking him outside.

Years later, a journey to Europe changed everything. Wandering through Grasse's old alleys, he was struck by how seamlessly fragrances wove themselves into the city’s fabric, elegant, understated, yet powerful. He realised fragrances there weren’t just perfumes. They were stories in bottles. Moments captured forever.

That trip laid the first brick for what would become Ghusim.

He returned to Delhi with a newfound clarity and a dream of blending the quiet grace of French perfumery with the soulful richness of Indian scent-making. At first, he saw it as a side project – just a way to indulge his lifelong love for fragrances. But as more people experienced his blends and kept coming back for them, their quiet yet growing demand lit a deeper fire within him. Each blend pulled him in further, each appreciative word making him pour more of himself into his craft. Soon, this small idea wasn’t just a passion, it became his life’s calling.
